CADS serves as the continental organization promoting, supporting, and coordinating sports for Deaf athletes across Africa, creating pathways for excellence and inclusion.

As an affiliate of the International Committee of Sports for the Deaf (ICSD), we uphold global standards while celebrating African sporting heritage.

Our Foundation

Founded on 07 October 1997 in Lusaka, Zambia, with headquarters relocated to Nairobi, Kenya in 2025, positioning CADS at the heart of African sports development.
